FERC Involvement In Southern’s South System Expansion III Project
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is the lead federal agency responsible for authorizing the South System Expansion III Project under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). On March 4, 2008, the FERC assigned pre-filing Docket No. PF08-13-000 to the South System Expansion III Project. Interested parties who wish to correspond with FERC about this project should refer to this docket number. Comments provided to the FERC under this process will be addressed by the FERC in its project evaluation.
