"BG, the largest importer of liquefied natural gas into the United States, is pleased to work with El Paso's LNG terminal at Elba Island. El Paso's team of highly trained and skilled professionals consistently works with our ship's crews to make sure that our vessels are berthed in a timely manner so that we can offload cargo with a minimum delay.

In late August 2006, El Paso was able to offload three LNG ships over the course of seven days during a period of peak electircal loads in the southeast. These actions enabled us to help meet the demand of our customers for clean-burning natural gas. We at BG appreciate that kind of effort, professionalism, and customer service."
