E&P Brazil — Partners with the Community

Off the coast of Brazil, in El Paso's BM-CAL-4 lease, the Pinauna Project teams are working with local fisherman to help safeguard mangroves, coral reefs, and beaches as we advance plans to develop a series of shallow-water oil exploration wells in the Camamu Basin.

In a unique partnership, we have employed more than 110 fisherman and trained them in emergency response techniques as part of our overall emergency response plan. The effort provides jobs and reinforces the long-standing positive relationship between El Paso and the local community.

Internationally, El Paso Exploration & Production is committed to helping communities and protecting the environment. Our Pinauna Project is just one example of the commitment.
